The 21st Century Cures Act has stated that effective January 1, 2021, agencies providing personal care services (PCS) and home health services (HHCS) must have an Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) solution in place.
The legislation applies to behavior analysis service providers in AHCA Regions 9, 10 and 11, and they can no longer bill through the Florida Medicaid Management Information System (FMMIS).
