About this Webinar
An invigorating conversation on the impacts of misalignment between personal and professional values on burnout in ABA professionals.
This webinar is eligible for 1 General CE.
Our Next Guest: A Conversation with Dr. Bridget Taylor & Portia James
A recent study of over 800 ABA professionals revealed that 72% of practitioners experience medium to high levels of burnout (Slowiak, 2021). Reasons for burnout are often masked as general overwhelm, poor time management, or heavy workloads.
The purpose of this webinar is to explore the impact of misalignments in personal and professional values as an underlying cause of perpetual burnout among ABA professionals. Misalignment can often be the result of a lack of personal boundaries as it pertains to workplace distractions, competition, and assimilation. These issues may be more prevalent for professionals in the BIPOC community where practitioners feel a heightened sense of obligation to prioritize the expectations of others over their own mental and emotional well-being.
